About ME

I am Genevieve Wells and I am a new mummy to my baby boy Loxley who I hope may follow in my footsteps one day when he is older. Following a 15 year career in Architecture I decided draw outside the lines and grow my passion in art. Having always been involved in the creative arts I found the transition quite liberating, straight house lines by day and free flowing faces by night. I am pretty much always in my studio drawing.

And this is Charlie, he is more dog than cat, bless him. Charlie is now 12 years old but still a spring chicken at heart. He completely rules the roost, what Charlie wants Charlie gets and yes that include prime bed position. Never have I known a cat to snore until I was introduced to Charlie.

This is Polly, I adopted her on holiday 8 years ago from Cyprus. Apparently she is a mix of Italian Greyhound, Boarder Terrier, Poodle and Chihuahua. Polly is literally the best dog in the world, she’s so easy going, well travelled and great with people and kids, we love her so much. If anyone is looking to adopt a fur baby I would highly suggest the Argos Animal Sanctuary

This is Rory, he is my partners dog. Rory is pretty much famous around Farnham, people recognise him before us, in fact I think they prefer him. Rory is an impeccable black Labrador, quite a handsome chap. Legend.

I feel very lucky to be able to do my dream job, I have always loved animals and painting so it is pretty much the perfect combination for me being a pet artist. It isn’t only pet portraits I do. I often paint people, scenes and buildings too. Don’t forget I can be commissioned to paint any animal, I have even done the odd owner portrait too, so don’t hesitate to ask if there is something specific you are looking for. I hope you enjoy browsing my website and portraits.

You can commission your pet portrait in a range of styles. I am always looking to try new things out, so if there is something you have seen and you like it, be it a different, please don’t hesitate to ask.
